Aston Villa welcome back Ollie Watkins and Tyrone Mings for Saturday’s Premier League encounter against Ipswich Town.
Watkins missed last weekend’s FA Cup triumph over Tottenham Hotspur having been forced off at half-time against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Centre-back Mings has been sidelined for the last three matches after hobbling out of our 1-1 draw against West Ham United in late January.
But both have returned to training and are back in Unai Emery’s squad for the visit of the Tractor Boys.
The duo are joined by new signing Axel Disasi, who was cup tied against Spurs last Sunday, but could make his debut this weekend.
However, Villa remain without injured quintet Ezri Konsa, Pau Torres, Matty Cash, Amadou Onana and Ross Barkley.
Manager Emery provided a fitness update at Friday afternoon’s pre-match media conference.
“Still out for tomorrow are Cash, Pau, Konsa, Onana and Barkley,” said the Villa boss.
“Those who have trained this morning with the group and are in the squad are Mings and Ollie Watkins.”
