Bio

Cameron Archer is a homegrown Villan. The forward made his senior debut for the club at the start of 2019/20 season, against Crewe Alexandra in the EFL Cup.

Archer made his first senior start for Villa in August 2021, scoring a hat-trick in a 6-0 victory against Barrow in the Carabao Cup. In the next round against Chelsea, the striker started and scored again.

A loan move to Preston North End followed in January 2022, with seven goals in 20 appearances. Archer's stellar campaign was rounded off with a debut for England Under-21s. He impressed once again after joining Middlesbrough on loan in January 2023, scoring 11 goals in the Championship.

Archer moved to Sheffield United in the summer of 2023 but returned to the club a year later under the terms of the initial transfer agreement.

Internationally, Archer helped England win the Under-21 European Championships in July 2023, scoring twice in five games at the finals.
