Bio
Enzo Barrenechea signed on as an Aston Villa player in July 2024, arriving at the club from Juventus.
The Argentine came through the ranks at Newell’s Old Boys in his homeland before leaving to join Swiss side Sion in 2019.
A move to Italian giants Juve followed just over a year later and he featured regularly for the club’s Next Gen side, earning himself a senior debut in a Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
Barrenechea spent his final season with the Turin side on loan at fellow Serie A outfit Frosinone, where he made 39 appearances in the heart of midfield.
