Filip Marschall is a promising goalkeeper who has represented England at youth level. He made his senior debut for Aston Villa in December 2023, starting in the Europa Conference League against HŠK Zrinjski.

In January 2024, Marschall linked up with League Two side Milton Keynes Dons on loan until the end of the season, making seven appearances for the club.

He previously spent the second half of the 2022/23 campaign on loan in the National League with Gateshead. The 'keeper kept eight clean sheets in 20 appearances to help keep them in the division. It was Marschall's second spell with the club after he helped them win the National League North title in the 2021/22 season. In August 2022, the 'keeper signed a new deal at Villa. 

He also has an FA Youth Cup winners' medal on his CV, forming part of the Aston Villa team that beat Liverpool 2-1 at Villa Park in the final in 2021. 

England have capped Marschall at Under-19 level.
