Arjan Raikhy is a technically gifted midfielder who gained senior experience during the 2021/22 season. Raikhy moved out on loan at the beginning of the campaign, signing for National League club Stockport County. He made seven appearances before returning to Villa in January. 

Another loan spell followed, this time to Grimsby Town. Despite an injury intervening, Raikhy made one of his nine appearances in the National League Play-Off Final as he helped the club win promotion to the EFL. 

The midfielder also formed part of the Aston Villa team that won the 2021 FA Youth Cup. Raikhy chalked up four assists and started every game during the triumphant run. The midfielder made his senior debut for the club against Liverpool in the FA Cup third round in January 2021.
