Chisom Afoka joined the Aston Villa Academy from West Bromwich Albion in July 2020. He initially linked up with the Under-18 squad before progressing to the Under-21s.

Capable of playing anywhere across the front line, Afoka headed out on loan to Bradford City in September and made five appearances for the Bantams before returning to Villa in January 2024.

During the 2022/23 campaign, Afoka netted five times in 17 games to help Villa's U21s secure a play-off place in Premier League 2.
