Aston Villa Women announced the signing of Meaghan Sargeant on July 3, 2021. The 27-year-old joined the Club having spent time at both Birmingham City and Bristol City in past seasons.

The Sheffield-born defender can operate anywhere across the back-line, and has notably represented Arsenal Women at academy level, as well as England’s Under-17s, Under-19s and Under-23s.
