Terms and Conditions
Promoter: Aston Villa Football Club Limited, Villa Park, Birmingham, B6 6HE (Registered company number 03375789) (“Aston Villa”).
- This Prize Draw is open to any person who completes the ‘2024-25 Villa Park Matchday Experience Survey’ survey and agrees to enter the prize draw.
Employees of Aston Villa (or any affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies) are not eligible to enter, nor are members of these employees’ families (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners).
The Matchday Experience Survey is built by Aston Villa using Surveymonkey and is distributed by Aston Villa.
- HOW TO ENTER. There will be one way to enter the Prize Draw, as follows:
- Entry via completion of the 2024-25 Villa Park Matchday Experience Survey.
Upon completing the survey, the respondent must confirm entry to the prize draw and supply their name and email address for the purpose of entering.
The survey will be sent to a random selection of ticket purchasers for each match (including season ticket holders). If completed, a participant will not be asked to complete a further survey for a period of forty-five days.
The prize draw will be run on three occasions across the season, with 1 of the 3 prizes made available in each draw.
Only one entry per person per email within each prize draw period is permitted. Multiple entries will not be counted and will not increase your chances of winning. The feedback survey can be completed as many times as required during each period.
Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Aston Villa is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed entries. Aston Villa reserves the right to disqualify anyone who it believes violated these Terms and Conditions.
- PRIZE DRAW PERIODS.
The Prize Draw Periods are as follows:
- Prize Draw Period 1 - From 16/09/2024 to 08/12/2024
- Prize Draw Period 2 - From 09/12/2024 to 08/03/2025
- Prize Draw Period 3 - From 09/03/2025 to 30/06/2025
- USE OF YOUR ENTRY. Your personal data will be used by Aston Villa and / or its agents (which include Aston Villa Football Club Limited and Aston Villa Women’s Football Club Limited) acting on Aston Villa’s behalf only for the operation of this Prize Draw. If you are a winner of the Prize Draw you agree that Aston Villa may use your name and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this Prize Draw.
- PRIZES. There will be 3 Prizes available for winning, 1 allocated to each prize draw period.
- Signed Aston Villa shirt by members of either the Men’s or Women’s team.
- The prize draw winner will be asked to select their preference of Men’s or Women’s team.
Prizes are as stated and are not transferable. No cash alternatives available. Aston Villa reserves the right to substitute any Prize with a Prize of equal or greater value.
Prizes may be considered as a taxable benefit to the winner. The winner will be directly responsible for accounting for and paying to HMRC, or other relevant tax authority, any tax liability arising on their prize. Please contact marketingteam@avfc.co.uk for any query related to the taxable amount for reporting to HMRC, or other relevant tax authority.
- SELECTION OF THE WINNERS. All valid entries will be submitted as per the rules in the “How To Enter” section.
There will be 3 Prize winners, one in relation to each Prize Draw period.
The winner of the Prize in each Prize Draw period will be selected randomly by Aston Villa on the closing date for each prize draw period from the valid entries during that period.
- Prize Draw Period 1 - From 16/09/2024 to 08/12/2024
- Prize Draw Period 2 - From 09/12/2024to 08/03/2025
- Prize Draw Period 3 - From 09/03/2025 to 30/06/2025
The winner of each Prize Draw will be notified (which may be via a public announcement on the Club’s website, social media channels or other relevant channel) within 10 working days from the end of the relevant Prize Draw Period and asked to message the Club with further contact details (if necessary). If a potential winner of a Prize has not confirmed receipt of the notification within 10 working days from the end of each prize draw period, or is not eligible to enter the Prize Draw or receive the Prize (for any reason), Aston Villa reserves the right to either (i) select an alternative winner on the same basis as described above (who will be given a reasonable deadline to respond); or (ii) not award the Prize.
The winner may be asked to provide identification and proof of address proving their eligibility before they are entitled to receive the Prize. Winners may be required to participate in further publicity or advertising.
Unless otherwise agreed, Prizes will be delivered to each winner via post or via collection from Villa Park on a future men’s home fixture date (Pride Rewards Collection point).
Accepting the Prize constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Notwithstanding this, if a winner does not confirm agreement and acceptance of these terms and conditions, Aston Villa reserves the right to withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner on the same basis as described above.
- WINNER LIST. The winner must provide, and consents to his/her surname and county of residence being made publicly available upon request. Each Winners’ name will be available for a period of 28 days after the selection of the winner by written request to mailto:marketingteam@avfc.co.uk.
- OTHER. No correspondence will be entered into regarding either this Prize Draw or these Terms and Conditions. In the unlikely event of a dispute, Aston Villa’s decision shall be final. Aston Villa reserves the right to amend, modify, cancel or withdraw this Prize Draw at any time but only before the delivery of any prize, without notice.
Participants in this Prize Draw agree that Aston Villa will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, costs, damage, disappointment or losses of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of a prize, or from participation in this Prize Draw. Nothing in this clause shall limit Aston Villa’s liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or liability arising out of Aston Villa’s fraud.
Aston Villa cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party.
Insofar as is permitted by law, Aston Villa, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Aston Villa, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected
These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
- SPIRIT OF THE PRIZE DRAW. If an entrant attempts to compromise the integrity or the legitimate operation of this Prize Draw by hacking or by cheating or committing fraud in ANY way, we may seek damages from that entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law. Further, we may, in our absolute discretion, disqualify that entrant’s entry to this Prize Draw and may ban the entrant from participating in any of our future promotions, so please play fairly.
Aston Villa cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party.
