Villa have agreed a deal for Eric Lichaj to stay at Leeds on loan until the end of the season.
The 22-year-old USA ace originally penned a deal for one month but both clubs have now elected to extend the move until May 7.
Villa have a 24 hour recall as part of the deal.
Lichaj has been a regular for Simon Grayson's side as he looks to get more experience under his belt.
Leeds, also featuring Kasper Schmeichel, Luciano Becchio and Andy O'Brien, are currently well in the hunt for promotion to the Barclays Premier League.
Despite his young years, Chicago-born Lichaj does bring his own experience of life in the top-flight to Elland Road.
He was handed his first top-flight start against West Brom before subsequent games against Tottenham and Manchester City.
He also started against Burnley and Blackburn in the Carling Cup and in Vienna for the Europa League away leg against Rapid.
Previously he had impressed in the Peace Cup and during loan spells at Lincoln and Leyton Orient.
On the international scene, he was called up for the first time by USA for a double header against Poland and Colombia and made his debut for them in the second of those clashes against the South Americans.
