Aston Villa is pleased to announce that John McGinn has signed a contract extension until 2025.
The 26-year-old has become a key player in the heart of midfield since signing from Hibernian in the summer of 2018.
In his first season with the club, he played a pivotal role in Villa clinching promotion to the Premier League, scoring at Wembley in the Play-Off Final.
He has gone on to make 83 appearances in all competitions and has also shone on the international stage, recently helping Scotland qualify for Euro 2020.
