Dean Smith hailed Aston Villa's "terrific performance" after they secured a 3-0 triumph at midlands neighbours West Bromwich Albion.
Anwar El Ghazi's double, taking his tally to three goals in three games, and Bertrand Traore's coolly-taken finish sealed a deserved three points for dominant Villa at The Hawthorns., where the Baggies were reduced to 10 men following Jake Livermore's first-half dismissal.
It was a fifth win on the road for Smith's side this season, along with an impressive seventh clean sheet, and came a week after they also claimed local bragging rights at Wolves.
And the Villa head coach cut a delighted figure when speaking post-match.
"It was a terrific performance," he told VillaTV.
"Two local games now, Wolves and West Brom, no goals conceded in either of them and an equally good performance against Burnley as well, we just didn't take our chances in that game, so seven points out of the last three games, terrific.
"But the performance here, from start to finish, we knew there was a chance they could have a new manager bounce and I thought we negated that really well with our start and we continued it through the game.
"To come away to West Bromwich Albion, I know they've had a man sent off after 38 minutes, but they've had one shot on our goal from the free-kick early.
"Our performance was exquisite from start to finish."
