After arriving from Vitesse Arnhem last summer, Swinkels, 17, played a key role in helping Villa win the FA Youth Cup, playing the full 90 minutes against Liverpool in the final.

The Dutch defender also made his senior debut for the club when he came on for the final 15 minutes of the FA Cup third-round tie against the Reds in January.

Goalkeeper Zych, 17, kept a clean sheet on his one appearance during the triumphant FA Youth Cup run last term, and was named among the substitutes for the final at Villa Park as well as the FA Cup tie against Liverpool.

The stopper joined the club in 2019 from Zaglebie Lubin in his native Poland, for whom he has represented at Under-17 level.

O’Reilly, 17, completed a move from St Patrick’s Athletic in his native Republic of Ireland to join Villa last summer.

The defender, who has represented his country at age-group level, featured for the club’s Under-18s and Under-23s last season.

Congratulations to all three Young Lions!
