Conor Hourihane has completed a season-long loan move to Sheffield United.
The Republic of Ireland international captained Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup victory over Barrow in Round Two but has not featured for the club in the Premier League this season.
Midfielder Hourihane, who spent the second half of last term on loan at Swansea City, joins a Blades side who are currently 23rd in the Championship following their relegation from the top flight in 2020/21.
