As the Club continues to welcome fans back for the 2021/22 season, Aston Villa would like to update supporters on the protocols in place at Villa Park and measures which may be introduced for future matchdays.
Villa Park will be operating at full capacity and, in line with the Premier League, we have taken measures to help safeguard everyone in the stadium on a matchday amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
These include a COVID-19 Fans Code of Conduct, which can be read via the link below. By purchasing a match ticket, supporters are agreeing to comply with this Code of Conduct.
Fans Code of Conduct 2021/22 season
The Premier League announced earlier this month that they are working towards COVID-19 status certification for fans. If it becomes mandatory, this will mean adult supporters should be prepared to show they have been fully vaccinated or have received a negative test result no more than 48 hours prior to kick-off.
These measures are currently not in place as it stands and no fan will be denied entry to Villa Park.
Please see the section below for more information on COVID-19 status certification for fans.

COVID-19 Status Certification
COVID-19 status certification is not yet mandatory, but it may be implemented at some point during the 2021/22 season. And as such, Aston Villa ask our supporters to be ready for its potential implementation on future matchdays.
No fan will be refused entry to a fixture prior to its introduction, however, spot checks will be taking place in readiness for the implementation of COVID-19 status certification at future matches. Spot checks will be carried out randomly around the ground and will involve a member of staff asking you to show your National Health Service Covid Pass, if you currently have one.
Going forward, match-attending fans should be prepared to show they have been fully vaccinated or have received a negative lateral flow test in the previous 48 hours. Fans will be able to do this by obtaining their NHS COVID Pass through the NHS app or website. More information on the NHS COVID Pass can be found here.
Lateral flow tests are available free from local NHS providers and some pharmacies. They can also be ordered online here.
Returning to Villa Park
It's great to see fans flocking back to our famous ground on matchdays.
However, it's important that supporters take steps to ensure that their visit to the stadium is a safe one.
Along with following the Club's COVID-19 Fans Code of Conduct vigilantly, supporters can take actions before, during and after the game to help minimise risk surrounding the transmission of the virus.
