Sebastian Revan rescued a point for Aston Villa Under-18s in an entertaining contest against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The full-back stepped up and scored from a free-kick up with 12 minutes remaining to salvage a draw for the Young Lions.
Filip Marschall saved Dane Scarlett’s 11th minute penalty before the Spurs striker redeemed himself with a long-range effort later in the half.
The result leaves Villa third in the Under-18 Premier League table, but they have two games in hand on leaders Fulham, who they trail by three points.

Spurs made the brighter start and almost took the lead when Nile John’s shot struck the post inside the opening four minutes.
Villa defender Sil Swinkels then handed the visitors an opportunity from the penalty spot, bringing down Max Robson.
But Marschall came to his teammate’s rescue, getting down well to his right to keep out Scarlett.

The young stopper got his fingertips to Scarlett’s powerful drive after 29 minutes, but he was unable to keep it out as Spurs snatched the initiative.
Tristan Abldeen-Goodridge had Villa’s best chance of the half, seeing his shot blocked by visiting ‘keeper Lo-Tutala.
The hosts upped their game in the second half and went close through Brad Young and Swinkels, before the former produced a stunning stop from Lo-Tutala after 66 minutes.
It was left to Revan to finally break Tottenham’s resistance, sending a left-footed set piece into the back of the net.
