Academy youngster Lamare Bogarde has signed a professional contract with the Club.
Lamare, 17, impressed as he made his senior Aston Villa debut against Liverpool last Friday, starting the FA Cup Third-Round tie.
The Dutch teenager arrived at the Club last summer and has shown his versatility by playing in both defence and midfield.
Academy Manager Mark Harrison said: "Lamare joined us in the summer and since then we have been pleased with his development, which has seen him play a number of times for our Under-23s at the age of 16.
"He has now settled into a central midfield role and acquitted himself very well."
