Aston Villa Women are delighted to announce the signing of Meaghan Sargeant on a two-year deal.
The 27-year-old joins the Club having spent time at both Birmingham City and Bristol City in recent seasons.
The Sheffield-born defender can operate anywhere across the backline and has notably represented Arsenal Women at Academy level, as well as England’s Under-17s, Under-19s and Under-23s.
Manager Carla Ward said: "Meaghan is a strong leader who can play off both feet and is athletically strong.
"Having had a frustrating year with injury, this is a big season for her and we look forward to seeing what she can bring to this squad."
