Anwar El Ghazi's disappointment with Aston Villa's second half performance against Crystal Palace was clear after the full-time whistle at Selhurst Park.
The Dutch winger scored his 10th goal in all competitions this season to put Dean Smith's side ahead for the second time in the first half, but Wilfried Zaha and Tyrick Mitchell struck late on to condemn Villa to a 3-2 defeat.
With the hosts coming from behind to take all three points, El Ghazi felt that the game followed a familiar pattern.
Speaking to VillaTV, he said: "I think we started the game very well.
"We enjoyed playing football, we were there with the second balls, we were focused and then in the second half we stopped playing football.
"You see them counter-pressing, creating chances and we give it all away.

"I think it's like this for the last few games, against Manchester United as well.
"We have to think about this because this is not good, we created problems for ourselves in the second half and that's really disappointing."
Two games of the Premier League season remain, with Villa travelling to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Wednesday evening, before facing Chelsea at Villa Park on Sunday.
El Ghazi believes that the return of fans for the visit of Thomas Tuchel's side will provide a boost to the team.
He said: "We are looking forward to see our fans back at Villa Park, we miss them very much.
"That's something we as players are looking forward to and we can really use the support right now."
