Aston Villa host Liverpool in the FA Youth Cup Final at Villa Park and ticketing arrangements have now been confirmed.
The Young Lions will make their first appearance in the Final of the prestigious competition since 2010.
The FA Youth Cup began 69 years ago and welcomes entrants from throughout the football pyramid.
Over the past two decades, the tournament has been largely dominated by the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal – but this year's Final gives Villa an opportunity to further underline the visible progress of our youth set-up.
The club have won the competition three times, most recently in 2002, and are aiming to draw level with Liverpool. Only Arsenal, Chelsea, who have won seven of the last 11 finals, and Manchester United, who top the winners’ table, have lifted the trophy on more occasions
Villa have seen off Reading, Brighton & Hove Albion, Burton Albion, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion to reach this stage, scoring an impressive 26 goals en route to the Final.
Liverpool reached the Final by coming from behind to beat Ipswich Town in the Semi-Finals, having already swept aside Sutton United, Manchester United, Leicester City and Arsenal.
The Final takes place on Monday, May 24 (ko 7.45pm) and here is how you can be there to get behind Villa for the showpiece occasion and witness an important part in the club’s future development.
The process will work as follows:
- Ticket priority will firstly go to Aston Villa 2019/20 season ticket holders who were unsuccessful in the ballot for tickets to attend our forthcoming Premier League fixture against Chelsea.
- They will be on sale for a 24-hour window from 12noon on Wednesday, May 19.
- Maximum ticket allocation is 4,750. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis and are subject to availability.
- Tickets are priced at £7.50 per person and will be available entirely online via tickets.avfc.co.uk.
- Any remaining tickets will then be available to all 2019/20 season ticket holders, including those successful in the ballot for Chelsea tickets.
- This will take place from 12noon on Thursday, May 20.
- Please note, there will not be a ballot process for this fixture due to the tight timeframe and turnaround for ticketing arrangements, therefore the stadium seating configuration will be pre-populated.
- Available seats will be configured in line with recommended COVID restrictions, with pods of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 seats which are inflexible.
- The initial on-sale priority window will be closed to all supporters attending the club’s fixture against Chelsea, including the lead booker and their group members.
- Please note, there is no hospitality available for this fixture and only home supporters are able to attend.
