Anwar El Ghazi revealed his superb matchwinning strike at Everton on Saturday was straight from the training ground.
With an enthralling encounter finely poised at 1-1 with 10 minutes remaining, the Aston Villa wide man received the ball from Bertrand Traore 20+ yards from goal.
El Ghazi controlled with his left foot, quickly got it out of his feet with his right, before curling an excellent effort beyond the impressive Jordan Pickford and into the top corner.

The first-class finish secured a 2-1 victory at Goodison Park and, speaking to VillaTV post-match, El Ghazi admitted it was a strike honed at Bodymoor Heath.
Asked what was going through his mind when he picked up the ball, he said: “Just one thing, shoot.
“I love to shoot and I do this quite often in training.
“Ezri Konsa told me before the game ‘when you come inside, shoot like you always do in training, in the top corners’.
“So I’m glad it happened here and we took the three points.”
He added: “To be honest, nine out of 10 times, in training, it’s a goal.
“So, if you practice a lot, it becomes a habit and I’m happy that it went in.”
