Chloë Arthur spoke of her delight at registering her first senior international goals for Scotland on Tuesday night.

The midfielder opened her account in the 21st minute of the World Cup qualifier against the Faroe Islands at Hampden Park.

And she took little time doubling her tally, heading home for the second time just six minutes later.

“I’m delighted to get on the scoresheet,” she said.

“To get one at Hampden and then to get another one is even more special so I’m really happy.”

Scotland recorded an emphatic 7-1 triumph to make it two wins from two in their bid to secure World Cup qualification, with the only concern a late injury to Erin Cuthbert.

The victory came after Friday’s 2-0 win in Hungary, capping a successful September international period for both Arthur and Scotland.

She added: “It was really important to get off to a good start in these qualification games and it’s exactly what we’ve done.

“We can go back to our clubs now knowing we’ve got the two results.

“Hopefully Erin is okay, I’m sure she’ll be fine, she plays a key role in this team so we do need her to be fit and healthy.”

Congratulations, Chloë!
