Aston Villa Women are pleased to announce the signing of Ruesha Littlejohn on a short-term contract.
The Republic of Ireland international joins Villa ahead of the 2021/22 campaign after spending last season with Leicester City and Birmingham City, respectively.
Littlejohn, 31, has also spent time in the top flight with Arsenal and Liverpool and will boost Carla Ward’s options in attacking areas.
Manager Ward said: "When we heard Ruesha became available it was a no-brainer.
"She’s an experienced head who drives standards, and having worked with her last season I know the sort of quality she can bring on and off the field.
"She’s settled in well and has quickly become an important figure amongst the group."
