Aston Villa is excited to announce the men’s first team will embark on a pre-season tour of Australia this summer as part of the squad’s preparations for the 2022/23 season.
Steven Gerrard will take his players to Brisbane to compete in the inaugural Queensland Champions Cup, where they will play Leeds United on Sunday, July 17 at the internationally-renowned Suncorp Stadium.
Villa will then travel north through the Sunshine State to take on A-League side Brisbane Roar at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in Townsville on Wednesday, July 20.
It will be the club’s historic first-ever tour Down Under and tickets for both fixtures go on sale from Friday, April 29 (1pm AEST).

As well a host of supporters’ events, the club will also announce details shortly of a further pre-season fixture added to the schedule in Australia.
