Aston Villa’s Premier League Cup tie against Blackburn Rovers has been rescheduled.
The game, which will be played at Bodymoor Heath, has been moved to Wednesday, December 21 and will kick off at 2pm.
Qualification to the knockout rounds is out of reach for the Young Lions, who have lost three and drawn one of their four groups games thus far.
Their last outing in the competition saw Villa go down 4-1 against Peterborough United.
Tony Carss’ team also lost out when they took on Rovers in the reverse fixture, losing 2-1 despite Kadan Young’s sublime opener.
