Aston Villa is pleased to announce that a number of Academy players have signed professional contracts with the Club.
Kyrie Pierre, Frankie Ealing, Taylor-Jay Hart, Finley Munroe, Jayden Barber, Teddy Rowe and James Wright have all penned their first professional deals, following in the footsteps of Lamare Bogarde and Josh Feeney who recently signed new contracts with the Club.
Pierre is an attacking midfielder who joined as an Under-16 player from Bristol Rovers.
Ealing, who has been with Villa since Under-9, is an attacking full-back who has played for the Under-23s a number of times.
Hart, a box-to-box midfielder, has also been with the club since Under-9 and has experience of Under-23 football.
Munroe joined as a 16-year-old and is a versatile left-footed player who can operate across the defence as well as in defensive midfield.
England youth international Barber signed at 16 and can play at full-back as well as in midfield.
Rowe has been with the Academy since Under-9 and is a technical midfield player.
Wright is a goalkeeper who also joined Villa at 16, playing a number of games for the Under-18s last season.
Congratulations to each of our Young Lions!
