Aston Villa are thrilled to announce our Regional Talent Club has received a rating of exceeding licence criteria for the 2021/22 season.
In an annual assessment, each RTC is marked in six key criteria and Villa have been rated 'exceeding' in all six key elements of the report.
Under the stewardship and management of Cristina Torkilsden, Josephine Cottam, Kerri Welsh and the surrounding staff at Villa's RTC, promising players have continued to earn first-team opportunities under Carla Ward.
Following debuts for Olivia McLoughlin and Freya Gregory during the 2020/21 campaign, the most recent season included maiden appearances for Laura Blindkilde Brown, Evie Rabjohn, Olivia Rabjohn, Isobel Goodwin and Mary McAteer.
The contribution of the staff to the development of female players at Aston Villa has been remarkable for several years, and the future is certainly an exciting one. Congratulations!
