The 23-year-old was a prominent attacking force for Villa, scoring four times and registering three assists, and she was presented with the accolade in the iconic Holte Suite by club legend Brian Little.

The final goal of the England international’s career came in the Second City Derby at St Andrew’s when she headed the winner in a 1-0 win.

A stunning free-kick from Sarah Mayling was selected as Goal of the Season.
The full-back stepped up and curled a superb shot beyond the Leicester City ‘keeper on the opening day of the season, sparking a come from behind 2-1 win.
Mayling rejoined the club last summer having spent the past four-and-a-half seasons at Birmingham City.
She was a mainstay of Carla Ward’s backline throughout the campaign, making 25 appearances.

Laura Blindkilde Brown capped her debut season in senior football by winning the Young Player of the Season award.
The teenager enjoyed a breakthrough campaign for Villa in addition to starring for England Under-19s.
Brown signed her first professional contract with the club back in September last year, making her final appearance of the season with a start in the Second City derby at Villa Park on the final day.
