Aston Villa fans have the opportunity to meet players from the 1981 First Division title and 1982 European Cup winning sides on Saturday (14 May).
As part of the 40th anniversary celebrations, an AV40 FanFest is being held in the Academy Building (opposite the North Stand) at Villa Park from 1.30-4pm.
Supporters will have the chance to chat with the players, take pictures with the squad and their trophies, and collect autographs at the event.

Entry is via the Family Fun Zone, with tickets available on the door priced at £10 each. Children under 14 have free entry into the FanFest.
The players in attendance include Peter Withe, Des Bremner, Gordon Cowans, Colin Gibson, Pat Heard, Dennis Mortimer, Ken McNaught, Jimmy Rimmer Nigel Spink and Kenny Swain.
European Cup winning captain Mortimer had the following message for fans ahead of the event…
He said: “One of the great pleasures for myself and the AV40 players since the easing of the COVID restrictions has been meeting up ‘face to face’ with so many Aston Villa supporters, who followed us with such passion and enthusiasm during our 1980/81 title-winning season and roared us on to victory in the 1982 European Cup Final in Rotterdam.

“We beat Bayern Munich, one of Europe’s greatest teams, in the final 1-0 and I am pleased to say that Peter Withe, who scored the winning goal, will be travelling from his home in Australia to link up with the AV40 squad as we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our trophy winning seasons.
“We want to share our celebrations with as many Villa fans as possible and I am pleased to announce that members of the AV40 Squad – including Peter Withe and myself – will be at the AV40 FANFEST at Villa Park on Saturday, May 14 to meet supporters, sign autographs and have photographs taken with the First Division trophy and the European Cup.
“Youngsters under 14 get free entry, so we hope that you will come along with your children and grandchildren and share your memories of following Villa in the glory days.”
