Aston Villa fans have voted Matty Cash as the club's May Player of the Month, in partnership with Cazoo.
The award caps a memorable 2021/22 campaign for the right-back, who was named Supporters’ Player of the Season at Villa’s End of Season Awards Dinner earlier this month.
Cash also scopped the club's March Player of the Month and February's Goal of the Month prior to an impressive May, which saw him finish the season as the only Villa player to start all 38 Premier League matches.
The 24-year-old completed 90 minutes in each of Villa's five matches in May against Burnley (home and away), Liverpool, Crystal Palace and Manchester City.
Cash opened the scoring with a well-taken header at the Etihad Stadium on a dramatic final day before Steven Gerrard's side fell to a 3-2 defeat.
