Danny Ings' brace fired Aston Villa to their first Premier League away victory of the season as they came from behind to defeat Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Villa No.9 took his tally for the campaign to six goals, including four in his last five games, as he levelled from the penalty spot before converting a 54th-minute winner on the south coast.

The Seagulls had opened the scoring inside the first minute courtesy of Alexis Mac Allister before the visitors hit back to triumph 2-1 at the Amex Stadium.

Villa's comeback secured a third consecutive win over Albion and ensured Unai Emery's tenure has opened with successive league victories.
