Leander Dendoncker is excited to be an Aston Villa player after completing a deadline-day switch from Wolves.
The midfielder, 27, moved to the Black Country in 2018, initially on loan, and proceeded to rack up 159 appearances in gold and black.
Now set to suit up in claret and blue, Dendoncker is relishing the move.

“I’m very excited to have signed for Villa,” he said.
“It’s a new challenge for me. I’m really excited to be here and I’ve already been shown around the training ground.
“I can feel that this a big club, you can just feel it. I obviously know the players from playing against them, and I know it’s a very good team with good players.
“I’m really happy to be here.”
The Belgian international arrives in B6 unbeaten at Villa Park in three visits as a Wolves player, netting the winner when the two sides met in June 2020.

And Dendoncker is keen to enjoy some more positive moments at the club’s famous stadium now that he’s a Villan.
He said: “There’s always a great atmosphere there.
“I’ve obviously scored against you guys before and hopefully I’ll be able to score for us now.
“I’ll give my best to try and help the team as much as I can.
“It’s a big stadium with good fans and I’m really excited to get started.”
