Aston Villa can confirm Cameron Archer has completed a permanent move to Sheffield United.

The striker joins the Blades for an undisclosed fee.

A homegrown product of the club’s Academy, he made his debut for Villa in the Carabao Cup at Crewe Alexandra in 2019. He scored his first goals - a hat-trick - against Barrow in the same competition in 2021.

He also enjoyed loan stints at Preston North End and Middlesbrough in the Championship, playing for the latter last term, while also scoring for England’s Under-21s en route to Under-21 European Championship success this summer.
