Unai Emery spoke of his happiness after Aston Villa’s 3-1 win at Burnley and shared the three points with the club’s supporters.
Villa triumphed over the Clarets thanks to Matty Cash’s double and Moussa Diaby’s second-half strike, after Lyle Foster had halved the deficit for the Clarets shortly after the restart.
It capped an impressive week for Emery’s Villans as they secured a third successive success, scoring 12 goals and recording two clean sheets following 4-0 and 5-0 wins over Everton and Hibernian respectively.
And the Villa head coach hailed the club’s fans along with three “very important” points when speaking after the Premier League success at Turf Moor.

“I’m very happy,” he told VillaTV.
“Our supporters, they were with us as well, they came from Birmingham to watch the game, to support us and we’re really very happy.
“We are feeling stronger with them.
“Those three points were very important in our idea to progress in the Premier League.
“After the match we played against Everton, a very good match as well, very good points after losing to Newcastle away.
“This was a very big challenge for us, we were speaking about it, and we tried to play tactically, defensively and offensively, strong.
“The players did the gameplan perfectly.
“Of course, we are sharing those three points with our supporters and trying for everybody to be excited - but with a balance because we are still taking three points, but at the end it is going to be difficult and next week against Liverpool.
“But we have to enjoy each moment and, this one, we enjoy it, it’s very good because the supporters as well, they were with us.”
