Daly voted January Player of the Month

Aston Villa supporters have voted Rachel Daly as the club’s Women's Player of the Month for January, in partnership with Cazoo.

The striker scooped a huge 39% of the vote following another sizzling month in front of goal.

Daly featured in all four games for her side last month, a spell which included two wins and a draw.

A 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur was followed up by with a battling 1-1 draw against Manchester City.

After a quarter-final exit at the hands of Arsenal in the Conti Cup, Villa were soon back on track as they beat AFC Fylde 11-0 in the fourth round of the Vitality Women's FA Cup.

Daly finished the month with five goals in the four fixtures and was also named Player of the Match in last weekend's cup tie.
