Captain John McGinn returns to contention for Aston Villa’s Premier League encounter against Leicester City.
The Scotland international midfielder has missed the club’s last four matches due to a hamstring injury but is now back in full training ahead of the visit of the Foxes on Saturday.
Left-back Lucas Digne returns to the fold having missed the victory at Southampton last time out due to a shoulder complaint.
Head coach Unai Emery, speaking at Friday’s pre-match media conference, confirmed January signing Jhon Durán is also available to potentially make his Villa debut.
Diego Carlos and Bertrand Traoré are closing in on their returns although this weekend comes too soon, while goalkeeper Jed Steer also remains on the sidelines.

“John McGinn is going to be in the squad, in the matchday 20,” said Emery.
“Diego Carlos is close to starting training with us but, of course, not tomorrow.
“Lucas Digne is training this week, normal with us.
“Bertrand Traoré is coming (back) next week, starting training progressively with us.
“And Jed Steer as well, he is not ready.”
Regarding Durán’s potential involvement, Emery added: “I think he can tomorrow maybe, possibly play minutes and make his debut on the pitch.”
