Aston Villa Women go into the final international break of the season flying high.

Carla Ward's side signed off with an emphatic 6-2 victory against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

The result against the Seagulls, highlighted by a Jordan Nobbs hat-trick, lifted Villa up to fifth in the Barclays WSL table.

And while Ward will be turning her attention towards the West Ham United and the Vitality Women's FA Cup at the end of the month, several of her players are set to represent their countries beforehand.

Here's a rundown of what to look out for on the international stage...

His side will travel to Spain for a triple-header against Iceland, Philippines and Wales in warmer conditions.

And two Villans will be hoping to feature heavily for their national team.

Hanson, in particular, will be wanting to carry her club form into the cup campaign having added three assists to her season tally last time out.

Lehmann didn't feature in her country's UEFA Women's Euro 2022 campaign last summer, but has returned to the fold.

The winger has scored twice this season while also adding a league assist to her name and will be hoping to continue getting minutes under the belt during a pivotal part of the season.

England

Sarina Wiegman has named both Rachel Daly and Jordan Nobbs in her England squad for the 2023 Arnold Clark Cup.

The European champions return to action for the second edition of the cup competition that is held in England.

And with three games against South Korea, Italy and Belgium to sink their teeth into, our Villans will be hoping for plenty of game time.

Daly has been in blistering form ever since signing for the club, scoring 16 goals in all competitions.

Nobbs, meanwhile, hasn't taken long to get in on the act.

The midfielder, who joined from Arsenal in January, scored a hat-trick en route to a 6-2 victory over Brighton on Sunday.

Republic of Ireland

Rounding out our representatives during the February international break is Ruesha Littlejohn, who will make her return to the Republic of Ireland squad.

Vera Pauw has called on the service of the experienced midfielder after Littlejohn was unable to feature in their FIFA World Cup-clinching win over Scotland in November.

Littlejohn and co. will travel to Spain to take on China in a solitary friendly fixture as they ramp up their preparations for this summer's finals.
