Unai Emery expressed his happiness with history maker Ollie Watkins after the striker led a strong team effort against Everton on Saturday.
The 27-year-old netted the opening goal of the game after 63 minutes, becoming the first Villan to score in five consecutive Premier League matches in the process.
Substitute Emiliano Buendía epitomised the collective effort when he made a telling contribution to score the second goal and secure all three points.

“It’s a record and it’s very good for him,” Emery said.
“We are here to support every player to achieve their objectives, and he’s happy when he’s scoring and the team are winning.
“I appreciate a lot the players who are assisting him and trying to get the ball to him to finish. We are very happy with him and how we can share his day by winning.”
He added: “After the last three matches, where we’ve conceded a lot of goals, we were worried about it and we spoke about how much we wanted to win today.
“Through a clean sheet we can try to win. The team was very focused in 90 minutes to do it, and we achieved it because the players have good spirit.”
The win at Goodison Park continued Villa’s fine away form since the Spaniard was installed as head coach, with the latest win making it four victories in five away league matches.

Emery says the challenge now is to replicate their performances on the road at Villa Park, starting with their next home tie against Crystal Palace next weekend.
He said: “It’s great for our supporters. They are travelling with us and away from home we are giving them more opportunities to be happy than at home.
“I want to share with them at home against Crystal Palace the same performances [as away from home], and find out what the difference is between us playing away and at home.
“In this process, we are going to find the solution and share with them our good moments at home.
“I’m very happy today because it was a good performance; everyone was great. Being competitive like we were today, it’s not easy to beat us.”
