Aston Villa can confirm Cameron Archer has joined Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season.
The striker has made seven appearances for Villa this term and will link up with Michael Carrick’s side for the remainder of 2022/23 having enjoyed a successful loan stint in the Championship last year.
Archer scored seven goals in 20 appearances during a temporary spell with Preston North End following a start to last season that had seen him net his first senior goals for Aston Villa.
