Aston Villa supporters have voted Boubacar Kamara as the club’s January Player of the Month, in partnership with Cazoo.
The midfielder scooped a huge 43% of the vote following a string of impressive performances in the middle of the park for Unai Emery’s side.
Kamara completed 90 minutes in all four Premier League matches during January, with the first month of 2023 a strong one as Villa went unbeaten in four top-flight games, winning three.
A 2-0 victory at Tottenham Hotspur on New Year’s Day was followed by a 1-1 draw against Wolves at Villa Park.
After a disappointing FA Cup defeat, Villa were soon back on track as they saw off Leeds United 2-1, with Kamara adding an assist to his superb displays as he surged forward before finding Leon Bailey to open the scoring.
In-form Villa then claimed maximum points against Southampton at St Mary’s courtesy of a 1-0 triumph, with Kamara once again on song.
