Aston Villa Women are pleased to announce the signing of Lucy Parker!
The defender joins the club on a two-year contract with the option of extending for a further year.
Born in Cambridge, the 24-year-old spent several years playing and studying in the United States at Louisiana State University (LSU) and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
Parker returned to the United Kingdom in 2021 and penned her first professional contract with West Ham United.
Following two seasons with the Hammers, the versatile defender has committed her future to Aston Villa.
Manager Carla Ward said: "Lucy is someone we’ve tracked for some time and we know we had a lot of competition to sign her."
"She’s a front-footed, ball-playing centre-half and is someone who will add a lot of quality to our defensive unit."
