Aston Villa is delighted to announce Josh Feeney has signed a new, long-term contract with the Club.
The centre-back joined Villa from Fleetwood Town in July 2021 and has gone on to feature regularly for both the Under-18s and Under-21s ever since.
He has been named on the bench for the first team on a few occasions and was part of the squad that toured Australia in the summer of 2022, playing against Leeds United.
An England junior international, he has also captained the Three Lions’ Under-16s.
Academy Manager Mark Harrison said: "We are delighted that Josh has signed a new long-term contract.
"As somebody who has already had first-team experience and captained England at youth level by the age of 18, it is clear to see that Josh has undoubted potential and we are really looking forward to seeing how he will develop over the coming years."
