Aston Villa is pleased to announce Louie Barry has signed a contract extension with the club and will immediately join Stockport County on a season-long loan.
The striker will spend the 2023/24 campaign with the Hatters after helping Salford City reach the League Two play-offs last term.
Since joining from Barcelona in January 2020, Barry has also spent time on loan with the likes of Swindon Town and Milton Keynes Dons, while he also lifted the FA Youth Cup with Villa in 2021 and scored his first senior goal in an FA Cup third-round tie against Liverpool.
