Aston Villa supporters have voted Ollie Watkins as the club’s February Player of the Month, in partnership with Cazoo.

The in-form striker scooped almost half of the vote, a massive 48%, having bagged four goals in four games during the month, adding to his strike in late January.

Watkins, who is also shortlisted for the Premier League's February Player of the Month, became the first Villa player since 1985 to score in five consecutive top-flight appearances when he netted at Everton last weekend.

The England international scored the opener in our 4-2 defeat against Leicester City at the start of February, before against hitting the target in our 3-1 reverse to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Watkins' scoring streak continued as Villa twice took the lead against Arsenal before eventually losing out 4-2, and he wrapped up the month with a coolly-converted spot-kick at Goodison Park to set Unai Emery's side on their way to a 2-0 triumph.

The top three players for the club’s February Player of the Month poll, in association with our principal partner Cazoo, were:

  • Ollie Watkins 48%
  • Matty Cash 20%
  • Philippe Coutinho 12%

Congratulations, Ollie!

Thank you to everyone who took part in the vote
