Emiliano Buendía says Aston Villa’s recent away form gives the squad confidence heading into Sunday’s trip to West Ham United.
Villa have won 12 points from five Premier League away games under Unai Emery, having initially returned two points from their first seven road trips.
Buendía is prepared for a tough game against the Hammers, but he has plenty of belief in his team.

“We know they are a really good team with top players,” he said.
“They have had a tough season because they are not usually in that position in the table.
“Playing away in their stadium, they are a really good team, so it’s going to be tough but I think we’ve shown we’re a different team when playing away now.
“We are confident playing away and we have learned to compete much better in away games.
“We go there to get the three points.”
The Argentine, who was recently recalled to the national team, made a telling impact on Villa’s last away game, coming off the bench to score in a 2-0 win against Everton.

It was the playmaker’s fourth goal of the season, and he’s hungry for more between now and the end of the campaign.
Buendía said: “I would like to have better numbers in terms of goals or assists but, as I always say, I’m working on it.
“I try to create chances for my teammates and to get in the box to score goals.
“I would like to have more, but I’m working in the right way to get there.”
He added: “He (Unai Emery) gave me the confidence to feel freedom in the attacking third.
“I always try to be in good spaces; he tells me during the week where I can perform better in the game.
“I always try to listen and learn and do what they say because I know it’s going to help me.”
