Aston Villa Women can confirm Remi Allen will leave the club at the end of the season.
Remi joined Villa from Leicester City in the summer of 2021 and was handed the captaincy ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The all-action midfielder made an instant impact, netting the winning goal against her former club on her Villa debut.
An impressive first season in claret & blue was sadly cut short when Remi ruptured her ACL in a 0-0 draw against Manchester United.
After 13 months on the sidelines, the 32-year-old made an emotional return to the pitch during our recent win over Reading, bringing her total number of appearances to 23.
