Following on from recent communication and in keeping with its commitment to continue to consult with fans on a regular basis, Aston Villa is today publishing a survey with a view to reaching an informed conclusion with respect to its future crest.
The consultation process undertaken last year whilst comprehensive, left some questions unanswered. Additionally, the Club has not seen the anticipated commercial impact of the new crest design, and therefore is taking the opportunity to gather further feedback from fans in the form of a survey that will be issued today.
The results of this latest survey, together with the output from the previous consultation and the views of other key stakeholders, will form the basis of a redesigned crest. This crest will then adorn the Club’s playing kit and other assets with effect from the 2024/25 football season.
We wish to ensure that sufficient time is invested in this process, and therefore the new crest will be unveiled later in the season.
The survey will remain open for completion until midnight on Sunday, October 8 and fans will be contacted by email with instructions as to how to access the survey.
