Aston Villa can confirm that Triston Rowe and Jamaldeen Jimoh have both signed their first professional contracts with the club.

Rowe is a versatile defender comfortable playing at right-full back or at centre-half and has featured for the both the club’s Under-18s and Under-21s this season, as well as for England at youth level.

Jimoh, a midfielder, joined Villa from West Bromwich Albion over the summer and has also represented England’s junior sides.

Academy Manager, Mark Harrison, said: ‘We are delighted to see Triston and Jamal sign their first professional contracts which is recognition for their development so far and their potential.

“Triston captained our Under-16s last season to winning the Under-16 Premier League National Tournament and has been a regular in our Under-21s this season with him recently representing England at Under-18 level.

“Jamal joined us in the summer and has recently put in some impressive performances in our Under-18s scoring four goals in his last three games. We look forward to seeing how both of them develop over the next few years.”
