Aston Villa remain without Álex Moreno and Jacob Ramsey for the visit of West Ham United on Sunday.
Left-back Moreno, who is yet to feature this season, is making progress but remains sidelined for the Premier League encounter against the Hammers.
As does midfielder Ramsey, alongside long-term absentees Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendía.
Head coach Unai Emery provided a fitness update at Friday’s pre-match media briefing.
“Still injured are Álex Moreno and Jacob Ramsey,” said the Spaniard.
“Other players progressively are coming to train with us after their matches with national teams.
“Hopefully, if everything goes well, tomorrow we’re going to be ready with everybody.”
