International football returns in October as a host of Aston Villa Women players join their respective nations for duty during the break from domestic action.

A large number of Villans will be involved in UEFA Nations League and friendly matches.

Netherlands

Daphne van Domselaar has been named in the Netherlands squad for their double-header against Scotland.

The Oranje host the Tartan Army in Nijmegen on Friday, October 27 (ko 7.45pm) before facing them again in Glasgow on Tuesday, October 31 (ko 7.45pm).

van Domselaar, who will be hoping to add to her 20 senior caps, produced a strong performance as her country overcame England during the last international break.

Scotland

Rachel Corsie and Kirsty Hanson will be aiming to emerge victors over van Domselaar and Netherlands during the upcoming double-header.

The pair featured as Scotoland got their Nations League campaign up and running with a slender defeat to England and a well-earned draw with Belgium during September's break.

Switzerland

Alisha Lehmann has been included in Switzerland's squad for their matches against the Sweden and Spain.

The Rossocrociati travel to Sweden for their Nations League tie on Friday, October 27 (ko 5.30pm), before hosting Spain on Tuesday, October 31 (ko 6pm).

England

Rachel Daly links up with England for a Nations League double-header.

They take on Belgium on Friday, October 27 (ko 7.45pm) before playing the Red Devils again on Tuesday, October 31 (ko 7.30pm).

Sadly, Lucy Parker has withdrew from the Lionesses squad having sustained an ankle injury during training.

Northern Ireland

Simone Magill could be in action for Northern Ireland for their upcoming double-header with Hungary in the Nations League.

The Green and White Army travel to Győr on Friday, October 27 (ko 5.15pm) before hosting their Hunagrian counterparts on Tuesday, October 31 (ko 8pm).

Canada

Adriana Leon has been named in Canada's squad for a pair of international friendlies.

They host Brazil in Montreal on Saturday, October 28 (ko 7.30pm) before taking on Seleção once more in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Tuesday, October 31 (ko 11.30pm).
