Aston Villa have been drawn alongside AZ Alkmaar, Legia Warszawa and HŠK Zrinjski in Group E of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Villa will come up against Dutch side AZ, who reached the semi-finals of the competition last season, Legia, runners-up in Poland's top flight last term, and Bosnia and Herzegovina domestic champions Zrinjski.

Unai Emery’s side booked their place in Friday afternoon’s group stage draw in Monaco following an 8-0 aggregate victory over Hibernian in the play-off round.

The draw featured 32 teams, including 22 Europa Conference League play-off winners and 10 sides transferred from the Europa League qualifying play-offs.

The 32 teams were split into four seeding pots based on the club coefficient rankings, with Villa placed in pot 2.
